We use professional equipment coupled with fresh innovative designs!
Remarkably one of the most versatile and impressive sound systems compared to venue size in Atlanta, GA! The first feature you may notice when powering on the system with the simple one touch control is the ability to have a theatre L.C.R. (Left, Center, Right) configuration or 5.1 surround sound all at the touch of a button through the BSS London Blue 10 control interface.
Not only is the sound & video equipment at Red Clay Theatre & Arts Center set-up for the most demanding theater group, the system may be switched to allow for impressive surround sound during movies when the Vu-Tec 10 foot high by 16 foot wide movie screen is lowered into place by the wireless control system.
Digital Projection’s TitanHD 5000 Lumen D.L.P. Projector delivers the stunning images for movies shown on screen and for business presentations. When in movie mode DVD control and surround sound processing is by Denon.
At the heart of the system is the Soundcraft MH2 48 Channel Audio Console – Accompanied by a Pro-Co CATALYST digital audio snake delivering 24 channels from a Cat-5 stage box and 6 channels of overhead microphones with two additional inputs located stage right.
The console features triple modes: FOH (Front Of House), Monitor or both simultaneously. House EQ is from a London Blue 80 Processor, accompanied by a Blue 32 and Blue 10.
The entire 27 box speaker system is JBL! The Left, Center, and Right clusters utilize the AM series boxes mounted horizontally with horns rotated, a total of 6 speakers in an LCR configuration provide even coverage and volume level to every seat in the house. Two dual 18” sub-woofers are located behind the curtains on stage right and left. The subs are run off an aux-send on the console so you can add bass when and where you need it. We were approached with several design requirements by Springwood School. They needed Audio/Video capabilities in their Cafetorium with the option to easily be able to roll the system in and roll it out so they could have lunch but still have a space suitable for performances and meetings. WizzAudio came in right on budget with an innovative and user friendly solution. The entire sound system is in a compact rolling rack with a Soundcraft console, DBX processing, Crown CTs Amps, Tascam CD/Tape player, JBL AE Series Speakers, Lowell power sequencing & surge protection, and a very simple In/Out panel on the rear with power, multi-pin mic input & speakon NL8 speaker output connector. On the stage a custom input panel by Pro Co has their mic inputs, monitor outputs, and video/audio inputs for VGA and composite/S-video sources. The Audio system is complimented by a Optoma DLP projector and motorized Da-Lite projection screen.
Lee-Scott Academy upgraded the sound and video in their cafetorium. Many thanks go out to Lee Maples who helped make this installation happen in one weekend! This system has many cool features like streaming TV from the rack-mounted computer system. Easy MP3 record capabilities, wireless microphones, and 24 inputs at the stage. The kids watch CNN during lunch everyday as part of the curriculum on the Sanyo/Da-Lite video set-up. The system also allows the President of the school to leave MP3 voice over’s and messages to the student body that can be played during lunch. It features a Soundcraft console, Crown Amps, DBX processing, and a Lowell power sequencing and lightning protection system.
